Indian Summers

Loving the look of this period drama. I caught a peek of it on television a few weeks ago, and now have it on my list to watch. In the meantime, I can feast on the delightful pictures from it....

Login the dresses!

I love the intense colours and diversity of saris.

A gorgeous house

Cushions galore - looks like my type of room!

Such beautiful colours in the sari.

Not misplaced: they have a themed party in the show!

what a lovely divan!

I love everything about this dress.

A gorgeous garden.

What lovely bed linen.
Also, interesting article on the historical background/ context.

The Durrells

I love this picture by John Rogers, official photographer for the itv show The Durrells.

This scene with Margo is so relaxed that it amuses me to see the crowd around her needed to create such tranquility. Talk about Margy-Bargy! (having a "beauty snooze")

It's such a gorgeous show, I love everything about it. And it makes me laugh - out loud!
Thank you mum for finding this gem! and for the post on Miss Moss recommending it!

In the midst of winter it makes me long for the cicada-tick and radiant heat of summer. I need to spend more time outside reading.
